Code of Conduct for Glass City Broomball League

Coaches:

1. Coaches are expected to set a positive example of sportsmanship and fair play at all times.

2. Coaches should treat all players, officials, and opposing coaches with respect and courtesy.

3. Coaches are responsible for the behavior of their players and should promote a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

4. Coaches should emphasize skill development, teamwork, and fair competition over winning at all costs.

5. Coaches must adhere to the rules and regulations of Glass City Broomball League and ensure that their players do the same.

Players:

1. Players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship, honesty, and respect toward opponents, teammates, coaches, officials, and spectators.

2. Players should always play within the rules and spirit of the game, and accept the decisions of the officials with grace, even if they disagree.

3. Players should strive to improve their skills, work as a team, and support their teammates in a positive manner.

4. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to taunting, trash-talking, and aggressive or dangerous play, will not be tolerated.

5. Players should respect the facilities and equipment provided by Glass City Broomball League, and take care to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Spectators:

1. Spectators should support all participants in a positive and respectful manner, refraining from any behavior that could be seen as disruptive or abusive.

2. Spectators are encouraged to cheer for their team and show enthusiasm for the game, but should avoid using language or gestures that could be considered offensive or disrespectful.

3. Spectators should respect the decisions of the officials and refrain from engaging in any behavior that could incite conflict or distract from the game.

4. Spectators are responsible for the conduct of any children under their supervision and should ensure that they follow the same code of conduct.

Glass City Broomball League expects all participants to uphold these standards of behavior and to contribute to a safe, fun, and respectful environment for everyone involved.
